Which setup do you prefer?

so it's been long couple of months me trying upgrade computers , not, done. wondering setup prefer?

what using for: i'm sports reporter, i'm out in field lot. edit lot of interviews in final cut pro (but nothing taxing) , take lot of photos , edit in lightroom. in addition, i'm starting take classes teamtreehouse.com , getting more front end web design.


option #1: have late 2013 macbook pro 8gb of ram , 128 ssd. keep , mac mini i7, decking out 256ssd , 16gb of ram.

total cost w/ monitor: $1350



option #2: sell 13' macbook pro, have standing offer of $1275 , 15 macbook pro refurbished 16gb of ram , 512 ssd. (http://store.apple.com/us/product/g...-20ghz-quad-core-intel-i7-with-retina-display) 27 inch monitor well.

total cost after selling computer , getting monitor: $1100



either 13 inch macbook pro , mac mini or 15 inch macbook pro.
 

i have no experience type of work do, bold section above great reason go single-computer setup. go 15" , you'll save lot of time not shuffling files , forth.
