No BASH SHELL SHOCK update for Snow Leopard. How safe is SL Mac standalone?

so apple gave bash-shell shock update mavericks, mountain lion , lion -- nothing snow leopard.

if i'm running snow leopard mac online, standalone, not networked - how vulnerable sort of mac sl un-patched.

realise there articles online showing how can patch myself using terminal commands, i'm bit reluctant try that's not proved work, might stuff presently stable, smooth snow leopard system.
