1. plug in usb drive , open disk utility.
2. select usb drive in sidebar , click on erase tab.
3. select mac os extended (journaled) in format box , name untitled.
4. click erase, , wait format finish.
5. when it’s done, close disk utility , open terminal. type in correctly or copy , paste following command , press enter:
sudo /applications/install\ os\ x\ mavericks.app/contents/resources/createinstallmedia --volume /volumes/untitled --applicationpath /applications/install\ os\ x\ mavericks.app --nointeraction
command officially make usb boot drive, , it’ll take 20 minutes.
while it’s doing thing, don’t mess terminal or eject flash drive.
once done, it’ll copy complete. finnished.
ps:
after hitting enter above command, ask passcode. enter , press enter. (be advised, when start type in apple id passcode terminal, not see being entered. normal. enter correctly)
