How to stop auto connect into shared Bonjour computer

hi,
have home network setup, using 10.9.5 on machines.
have file sharing turned on , access files on desktop computers on home wifi network
installed new hard drive on desktop (early 2008 imac) , had go through setup process. after did so, laptop (mid 2010 mbp) allowed connect using 2 different ids. 1 name of user folder, , 1 apple id.
user name logon not problem ( think), apple id 1 logon without prompting when, in finder, click on either of shared devices listed: time machine , name of desktop computer. both of these disappear if uncheck "bonjour computers" in finder preferences, still show if click under shared devices.

when logged on, bar reads "connected as: <apple id>"
if click on disconnect in right hand side of bar, disconnects moment, it, without entry me, re connects---it momentarily shows "connect as" reconnects , "disconnect" reappears.

new behavior since hd upgrade on desktop suspect have setting allows this, cannot find change.

appreciated, want able connect using user folder name , disallow auto logon.
