Lock screen stuck in zoomed mode on iPhone 6 Plus?

i noticed lock screen seems displaying in zoomed mode on iphone 6 plus non-optimized app do.

intentional? seems sloppy.

, no, not have zoom turned on in settings.

else seeing this? or, perhaps, not seeing this?
 

ios 7 on iphone did this, , it's carried on on new phones , ios 8. it's meant make time , battery easier see @ glance assume.
