Super Slow Problem!

hi guys, i've got mid 2010 macbook pro , installed yosemite beta on it.
got updates second update , didn't use mac while.

i've come , it's incredibly slow, takes forever mouse move.
can't restore startup keys don't seem force allow me go disk utility , i've got fair bit of important work on it!

i'm trying see if can upgrade stable yosemite, fear make worse?

help!!!
