Harman Kardon Aura - My Impressions

hey guys, wanted give quick mini-review of harman kardon aura wireless speaker system. speaker seems relatively new market there weren't many reviews when in market it. makes speaker unique design of course, , fact both airplay , bluetooth speaker.

speaker retails $399 @ apple store.

pros:
incredible design, looks more art speaker
sound, i'll in minute
versatility of having both airplay , bluetooth
price. while not cheap, comparable competitors

cons:
-the sound, while good, not great. have bose soundlink ii struggle find inferior harman kardon aura. aura powerful , can shake floor if want to, sound still isn't crisp you'd expect $400 speaker be.
-source switching/connectivity. after pairing phone speaker, have manually go bluetooth settings on device , reconnect manually. aura doesn't automatically connect device when turned on. tragic flaw, imo. matter further complicated splotchy playback when paired. on more few occasions, had turn bluetooth radio off on iphone , in order correct awful sound distortion. never issue aforementioned bose soundlink.
-the buttons on aura capacitive , require find them eyes each time. turning speaker on , adjusting volume needlessly complicated result.

in all, i'm bit disappointed speaker. hoping performance match great design, can't thats case. no means audiophile, still able recognize sound not beautiful harman kardon name suggest.
