Safari 8.0: No URL address?

surprised see there lack of specific url address in url field when accessing website.

instance...

post message, see in safari forums.macrumors.com

normally, should see specific address , post number in url field.

helps if want email link post.

should turned on in safari settings?
 

okay...

seems if little further playing around , able answer own question.

if click in url field, actual url address appear.
