Sprint iPhone For Life....which insurance should I get?
i planning on leasing iphone 6. want insurance it. recommend? sprints? applecare?
there differences between tep (total equipment protection, sprint) , applecare+.
ac+ not cover theft/loss. it's warranty.
tep insurance covers everything, have deductible must met based on sprint's criteria (usually first year there no deductible, check).
ac+ means deal directly apple. way around better service.
tep means deal directly sprint/assurion. theft/loss covered, replacement may not quality apple.
ac+ gives 2 incidents of adh (accidental damage , handling). apple replace or repair phone damage not covered warranty @ $79 per incident.
tep not have adh. you'll have pay full deductible or repair cost if damage not covered warranty.
ac+ $99 once, front , gives 2 years.
tep $11/month , cover long keep paying.
reference, got ac+ , tep iphone 5. tep covers me theft/loss. ac+ expired solely covered tep. nice not having deal sprint 2 years whenever had problem phone.
1 final note. apple repair/replace phone out of warranty. oow replacement $279 or so. may less tep's deductible. it's less paying full price new phone replacement.
