Gaming performance on rMBP using only external display

hey guys,

i've scouring interwebz decent answer , haven't found it. posting question here.

i've been trying wait broadwell refresh may pull trigger on 13" base model in couple of months. game play if @ dota 2 , cs.

i've heard can decent performance osx , bootcamp. question is, if run game on external display (@1080p) (using main display mbp screen off), push more fps?
 

1080p lower res native res on internal display, unlikely you'd want run game @ native res on internal display anyway.

light gaming fine, don't expect run crysis 3 @ max settings or anything. dota 2 , cs shouldn't problem. both designed run on wide range of systems.
