Move from AT&T unlimited plan to promotional shared plan?

at&t offering double gig offer on normal shared plans until end of october. if can 30 gig per month shared 3 people price of 15 gig , reduce our phone bill $45 per month worth discontinuing unlimited plan? after 5 gig throttled slower speed anyway has never been "unlimited".
