Power button not working

randomly other day when tried boot mbp, hit power button , nothing happened. checked battery indicator lights showed had charge , full battery, , tried plugging in charger, did light normal, tried booting still nothing.

searched web phone , saw suggestions resetting smc, did nothing. thing worked , reason why able use mbp doing smc bypass, holding power button 10 seconds, putting charger on , continue hold 10 seconds, , booted if nothing happened.

gives? might take apple store , see idea.
