Anyone use a PCI slot fan in a G4?

has had experience pci slot fans in graphite g4? actual if placed directly below gpu or waste of money?
 

it wouldn't bad idea try if you're having graphics card overheating issues. if you're not, wouldn't it. macs designed airflow in mind, , adding fans don't belong create heat issues elsewhere.
