following previous photo sets showing unfinished 4.7-inch iphone 6 rear shell , assorted other parts in recent weeks, luxury modified iphone vendor feld & volk [instagram page] has shared set of high-quality photos showing parts device. while many of parts have been seen, new set provides our best yet @ of those, few new ones.

1 photo shows inside of front panel , display assembly, of components near top pulled apart give @ how digitizer/lcd flex cables , earpiece come room front camera , proximity/ambient light sensors packed 1 small area of device.

several other photos highlight how edges of front panel taper. tapered edges should sit flush edges of rounded rear shell, providing sleek, seamless , feel iphone 6.

also shown extreme closeups of power button , mute switch. silver metal finish of power button can seen, , feld & volk says volume buttons of similar design , finish. design of mute switch different seen in other recent iphones, new switch appears pivot on pair of internal pins while switches on other recent iphone models have been of flat slider type. design change may due iphone 6 having rounded sides opposed flat sides seen since iphone 4.

apple expected introduce iphone 6 @ media event on september 9. device expected come in 4.7-inch , 5.5-inch display sizes, although unclear whether launch simultaneously or not. first wave of launches come week or 2 after event.
