"Apple Watch", not "iWatch"

anyone care guess why name "apple watch" chosen on "iwatch"? iwatch sounds little better me.

there trademark issues? remember trademark issue "itv". apple moving away i- prefix?
 

iwatch sounds silly if think it, in "i watch" you.
