i have nokia lumia 925 on t-mobile except couple of issues: reception rather iffy on , music experience plain horrible. jump upgrade coming next month , i'm considering using it. few phones interest me, namely nexus 5, samsung galaxy note 3 (i used have note 2), iphone 5c, , iphone 5s.
i've had couple of iphones previously, 3gs , 4s, i'm acquainted ios @ least ios 6. use , quite happy microsoft services office 365 , outlook.com , seems support on ios bit better on android , rather close how supported on windows phone.
same price can either 32gb 5c or 16gb 5s , i'm having tough time figuring out 1 might better. have played both in t-mobile store briefly , 5c looked , felt better 5s me. plastic backing , softer clicking home button on 5c felt more pleasant metal backing , too-clicky home button on 5s. didn't notice speed difference between them in store except fact 5s snap photos more 5c. 5s's fingerprint scanner seems useful feature , improved low-light performance of camera handy, though thought 4s did pretty in low light. yet 16gb of storage little further pushes me in direction of 5c since 32gb right me. know new iphone coming out in few months don't care since in little 6 months i'll have jump upgrade available if want new phone then.
concerns me 1 has better reception. imagine antenna designs bit different since 5c doesn't use outer casing antenna 5s (and matter, lumia 925). has been able compare 5c , 5s on same carrier in same spot compare reception? more of longshot, compared lumia 920/925/928? in store seemed 5c did best in ever-unreliable bars test, though had different ios versions , baseband radio firmware may have been different.
are willing wait?
yes: wait iphone 6 in 3 months (rumored)
no: buy 5s
done.
