Discolouring of Apple leather case

i bought leather midnight blue on launch day , discolouring has caused sides , majority of of case turn black. exchanged new 1 today , have blue case again! if happens again may return black.

else had experience?
 

i got midnight blue on launch day , it's pretty dark now. not sure if should exchange black or try silicone version.
