Whatsapp is eating up my iPhone 6's battery!

hey folks, iphone 6 battery disappointing. dunno if maybe whatsapp specific.
unplugged , texted bit , battery rushed down 94%.

whos using whatsapp lot verify this?

that battery usage last 24 hours (not since unplugged). therefore, means used whatsapp lot in previous 24 hours. not ate battery down 94%.
