Wireless and NAS/DAS Solution Needed!

so converting apartment home office start , need file storage solution.

here i'd able do.

have 500gb ssd laptop , active projects run drive. work in photography , video , need larger (say 2-3tb) storage solution inactive projects(scale-able welcome). not backup drive (yet) can hold large lightroom library , h264 video. want drive accessible wirelessly through apartment (since have laptop , don't want plugged in time). cloud access nice, not needed. wireless router not near desk wireless capabilities have come dongle/built-in/or access point (suggestions on welcome).

simplify...i looking file storage solution that:
-acts storage drive.
-can accessed via usb3.0 or thunderbolt for
-can accessed wirelessly
-could accessed cloud drive*
-could act backup (raid)*

*not important nice.

know can these things multiple devices, looking 1 solution.

 

i work home , home office includes 2-disk synology nas. checks boxes exception of "can accessed via usb/thunderbolt."

have set such while @ home, laptop plugged ethernet , synology more speedy enough transfer files. while away home, access synology through web, view files. it's rare need transfer files to synology, view and/or download it.

works great me, , can access files , itunes collection of devices/laptops/computers while away home.
