@ first apps $0.99, it's pretty hard come price, if $0.99, it'll have minimum functionality , have in-app purchases make price , some.

developers charge ridiculous resolution charge, ipad , more os x version... complete nonsense.

finally, developers going release new version of apps ios 8's release , make users re-purchase apps, did ios 7?
 

porting app accross multiple devices requires more work changing resolution.
