The Apple Watch is - close enough
ok. cant sleep because of jetlag, ive decided write down thoughts apple watch.
when ipod came out, , saw it, knew why wanted for: listen music.
experienced same thing iphone: make calls, web browsing every , of course, giving ipod brother.
when ipad came out wasnt sure why id use it. wait years , mini got business. quesrion answered: read on way work, web browsing bed in more comfortable way using iphone, facetime calls family live abroad , of course, writing a-watch review when couldnt sleep. know, still think have stayed kindle , iphone, tried ipad in case , can im not unhappy purchase.
when smartwatches started come out, there question in head wasnt answered time, "why need this?" , when rumors of apple getting business starting come out too, hoped when product see light "thats ive been waiting for", turned out i, @ least, wont buy gadget. lets see why:
design: it.
smartwatch, not omega or rolex. tech thing supposed give more time.
moto 360's design looks cool round face, a-watch approach, instead of strapping olive can wrist have tuna can, still can, apple's seems less bulky , smaller. (seems...). q bit thick maybe.
dont worry "bulkyness" of it. thinks place start. on years weve learned 1 thing apple right desing , unstoppable quest thinness. have give maybe year or two, better, ipad - ipad air evolution.
software: it.
said before, design apple best, of time. think ui looks cool , better in time.
overall functionality: close enough...
said before, didnt know why need smartwatch. kinda know use for.
first one, iphone companion. question answered: a-watch is.
second one, , in opinion, 1 posibilities: fitness companion.
there 2 types of fitness technology users: ones love track performace (the regulars), , ones looking excuse begin training. group of people love buy gadget , force begin exercising. dont know how waterproof-water resistant thing work, considering there sport version might taken acount, soorts swimming out of question.
thought might cool monitor running (if started run) , swimming (probably next week doctor tell me need swim because of problems ive got) performace, watch might not ready that. waterproof "tiny" detail maybe 1 of importsnt misses.
jony ive "its tle tiny details ones define product" , miss think, big, specially in sport version.
thats tought use watch, but, fortunately, apple gives more:
sending taps, or whatever called. whink useful, unless taps can send iphones/ipads/macs too, force give a-watch lady can tell waiting outside, , late dinner reservation, again.
sending heartbeats can funny too, sending lady "i love you" nice, thats might once or twice.
siri, handy.
making/receiving calls; useless, unless in private place "hey katie, have seen underwear?" "honey, im boss right now". didnt feature samsung dont know name, in privacy might me useful
in opinion, watch close enough. ios integration looks good, , improve. physical design, thinner , better, in time. waterproof, come, think. maybe self cargin phsysical movement me cool too.
playing being analyst? nah, im on vacation "dont have better things do?" yes, cant sleep, well...
ah! please forgive english mistakes.
points, , pretty agree all. think making/receiving calls thing useful in other place i'd use speakerphone. particularly when borrow wife's car, isn't set use phone on bluetooth car is.
