The apps I use often and can I upgrade to public beta tmr?

i don't call 2013 rmbp money maker. use 1 computer both work , home. want try out yosemite tmr. i'd show apps use. me out checking if give me fatal crash or serious problem? in advance.

daily: safari, itunes, messages...

email: apple mail @me.com. air mail business.

work:
pages, numbers (i use them work). communicating windows users, use word , excel. chrome.

entertainment: youtube

misc(not important lists above, i'd see them work):
evernote, ibooks, steam

btw, have time machine backup of mavericks. able recover computer mavericks, if beta can't used?
 

i not recommend making single computer work , home test beta tomorrow. if goes wrong , unable restore computer in timely manner on own, without outside help, may not bode work wise.
