iPhone 5 Camera Issues

i need help, macrumors!

of sudden after year or 2 of use, iphone 5 not take pictures. camera app open, blank black screen. cannot move little slider on video, panoramic, etc. also, when try take pictures in instagram , snap chat, cannot take pictures.

have 4.3gb of space available on 5, photo storage isn't issue; however, i've been getting messages lately phone cannot backed on icloud because don't have enough space, do.

i'm running ios 7.1.2.

i'd try backing iphone itunes , restoring via itunes. messages not being able icloud because icloud full. unless bought paid data package apple, have 5gb.

restore new , see if issue persists. if does, there hardware failure, , @ point recommend taking iphone apple , let them check out.
