iPod Touch crisis

my 3 year old ipod running ios 6.1.6 (jailbroken untethered) gave on me last week , stuck on boot loop im thinking getting repaired via shop because havnt had greatest luck itunes restores :p ive replaced ipod buying second gen ipad mini feels weird not having lag ios 6 , constant frustration apps crashing 24/7, advoce on should fixed $15 or should stick mini (even if gets fixed, ill still keep mini go device)


can suggest fix boot loop wothout using computer? x :)

if ipod touch 3 years old, guessing 4g, because 5g came out 2 years ago. owned 4g while. say, not worth fixing. ram miniscule , upgrade 5g whole different experience. use ipad mini main machine until can buy new ipod? starts @ $199. luck :)
