Safe remove iPhone, it is mounted as drive

i'm sure has asked before, no matter tried, mentioned wouldn't mounted drive in explorer or finder. i'm using win8 , every time plug iphone shows in windows explorer. when i'm done, eject on itunes, still shown in win explorer , 1 can browse internal memory, pictures , etc.

doesn't feel right unplug 64gb internal memory when still shows in explorer, that's all. coming android background internal memory got effed (by know why!), want super careful iphone lives longer. please let me know how eject safely, if 'just unplug don't care @ all' wrong (which i'd honest).

 

it shows digital camera using ptp interface. fine unplug it. in cases, don't have eject itunes.
