hi, trying install windows 8 on wives' mid 2010 13' macbook pro, , ran issues since mac not supported windows 8. have spent time trying find solution, didn't find wanted, thought i'd post of out if run same crap. not know crashes or fails or why in general did make (and other) macs unsupported windows 8, @ own risk. first of all, wanted perform bootable usb install on mac. first problem ran running mavericks. usb bootable installation unsupported here. this great tutorial helped me out issue resolved. still cannot create bootable windows 8 usb.
